One of several lakefront brasseries opposite the Alimentarium, the Brasserie du Lac is the best place in Vevey for lake fish. Perch fillets (filets de perche) fried in butter with a wedge of lemon are the default order — order them when they are fresh, not frozen, which the menu will indicate. Fera, pike, and trout also appear depending on the season. The terrace faces directly onto the water and the fork sculpture, making it equally good for an unhurried lunch and a summer dinner.
