Clouds occupies the top three floors of the Prime Tower in Zurich-West — at 126 metres, the city's third-tallest building and the highest publicly accessible viewpoint inside Zurich proper. The 35th floor is a bar with panoramic floor-to-ceiling glazing, the 36th is a more formal brasserie, and the 37th is a private fine-dining restaurant.
The best deal is the Clouds Bar at the top of the standard lift: order an aperitivo, take a corner seat, and watch the city, the lake, the surrounding hills and (on a clear day) the high Alps unfold below. Sunset is the obvious peak time; weeknights are quieter than weekends. Reservation strongly recommended; the bar accepts walk-ins but they often have to wait. Smart-casual dress code.
