Kamianets-Podilskyi is in western Ukraine, about 100 kilometres southwest of Khmelnytskyi and 100 kilometres northeast of Chernivtsi. There is no commercial airport; the nearest airports are Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk.
By train, there are overnight services from Kyiv (roughly 10–12 hours) and connections from Lviv via Khmelnytskyi. The train station is in the New Town, about 3 kilometres from the old town — take a taxi or walk. By bus, there are regular services from Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, and Lviv.
Note that travel to Ukraine currently requires checking current safety conditions and entry requirements; the ongoing conflict that began in 2022 affects planning for any journey in the country.
