Vinnytsia’s Air Force Museum is an open-air collection of Soviet and Ukrainian military aircraft, missiles, radar equipment, and ground vehicles. The displays sit close to the Ukrainian Air Force command, which gives the place a more serious atmosphere than a typical transport museum.
The appeal is the hardware: fighters, helicopters, trainers, and air-defence systems arranged so you can compare their scale at close range. It is most rewarding for aviation and Cold War history enthusiasts, but even casual visitors get a quick sense of how important air power has been to this military city.
