Vinnytsia is connected to the rest of Ukraine by rail, road, and — since 2014 — a revived airport. The city sits roughly 260 kilometres south-west of Kyiv.
By train, direct services run to Kyiv (about 3.5 hours), Lviv (about 5 hours), and Odessa. The Vinnytsia railway station is in the city centre. Overnight trains also connect to other Ukrainian cities. Intercity express services are faster but less frequent than regional trains.
By bus, regular services run to Kyiv (4–5 hours), Lviv, and regional towns. The main bus station is near the railway station. Bus travel is generally slower than train but can be more frequent for some routes.
By car, Vinnytsia is on the H-24 highway connecting Kyiv with the south-west. The drive from Kyiv takes approximately 3.5 hours depending on traffic.
Vinnytsia Airport was renovated and reopened in 2014 with domestic connections. International flight options have varied depending on security conditions; check current status before travel.
