Zhovkva is 30 kilometres north of Lviv and is easily reached by marshrutka (minibus). Minibuses to Zhovkva depart regularly from Lviv's main bus terminal near the train station; the journey takes about 40 minutes and costs very little. There are also some direct buses on the Lviv–Yavoriv route that stop in Zhovkva.
By car from Lviv, take the road north toward Rava-Ruska (highway M11/E471). Zhovkva is signposted and the drive takes 30–35 minutes.
There is no regular train service to Zhovkva from Lviv.
