The Cambridge University Press bookshop on Trinity Street is the retail outlet of the world's oldest printing house — Cambridge University Press has been printing books since 1584. The shop has a good selection of academic titles, particularly in history, science, philosophy, and languages, alongside a solid fiction section and a well-stocked Cambridge-specific section. It is one of the better independent-style bookshops on the main street, and browsing here is more pleasant than the general bookshops aimed at tourists. Open daily.
