Great Yarmouth is fish-and-chip country, and it does that well. Beyond the seafront classics, the old town around the Market Place has a few decent restaurants that outlast the summer season. Freshly caught North Sea fish is the thing to eat here — the town still has commercial fishing boats operating from the harbour.
