Merrivale Model Village is classic Great Yarmouth: unashamedly seaside, detailed, and a little eccentric. The miniature town has railways, tiny shopfronts, gardens, and visual jokes that reward slow looking rather than a quick lap.
It is best with children or with adults willing to enjoy something gently old-fashioned. In a resort full of louder amusements, Merrivale is a calmer and more charming hour by the front.
