A vast, free, slightly chaotic art and craft gallery in a converted Victorian biscuit factory between the city centre and the Ouseburn. The format is part exhibition, part shop: hundreds of works by a rotating roster of British artists at a wide range of prices. The atmosphere is far more browsable than a conventional commercial gallery.
The on-site restaurant, Artisan, has a separately strong reputation. Easy stop on the way down to the Ouseburn proper.
