The Blackpool Tramway is the best way to travel along the seafront, running north toward Fleetwood and south past the Pleasure Beach. It turns the long promenade into a simple linear route.
Central Blackpool is walkable, but distances along the front are longer than they look. Use trams for north-south hops, buses for inland neighbourhoods, and your feet for the Tower, piers, and Comedy Carpet area.
