Sabden lies between Clitheroe and Padiham, about an hour from Manchester by car.
By car. From the M65, take the Padiham exit and follow signs over the Nick o' Pendle. From the M6, head east via Clitheroe. The village is small and parking is limited; the lay-bys above the village give the easiest walking access.
By bus. Limited local services connect Sabden to Clitheroe and Burnley. Check current timetables — frequency drops off sharply on Sundays.
By rail. The nearest stations are Whalley and Clitheroe, both on the Manchester–Clitheroe line. From either, taxi or local bus into Sabden, around 15–20 minutes.
