The Nick o' Pendle is the saddle of the hill above Sabden where the road climbs steeply out of the village toward Clitheroe. The viewpoint at the top is one of the best in Lancashire — the Ribble Valley spreads out below, with the Forest of Bowland beyond.
There is roadside parking and the start of one of the standard paths up Pendle Hill. The road is narrow and steep, occasionally closed in winter snow.
