Getting There

Rochdale is well connected to Manchester and the wider north of England.

By tram: The Metrolink tram connects Rochdale Town Centre and Rochdale Railway Station to Manchester city centre (Exchange Square) in around 55 minutes, with frequent services throughout the day. This is the easiest way to arrive from Manchester.

By train: Rochdale railway station is on the Calder Valley line with direct services to Manchester Victoria (30 minutes), Leeds (around 1 hour), and Halifax. The station is a five-minute walk from the town centre.

By road: Rochdale is on the M62 motorway (the trans-Pennine motorway between Liverpool and Hull), with easy access from Manchester (16 km south), Bradford, and Huddersfield. The A627(M) spur connects the M62 to the town centre. Parking is available at several town centre car parks.
