By Train
Eastbourne is well served by train from London. Southern trains run frequently from London Bridge and London Victoria, with the journey taking about 1 hour 20 minutes. There are also direct connections to Brighton (30 minutes) and Hastings (30 minutes), making it easy to combine Eastbourne with other Sussex destinations.
By Car
Eastbourne is about 70 miles south of London on the A22, which becomes the A2270 on approach to the town. The M25 junction at the start of the A22 adds time in heavy traffic; allow around 1.5 to 2 hours from central London. Parking in the town centre and on the seafront is paid and can be congested in summer.
