Marlow has its own railway station on a single-track branch line from Maidenhead. Trains from London Paddington to Maidenhead take about 25 minutes on the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail), and the connecting shuttle to Marlow takes another 7 minutes — the total journey is just under an hour. Trains run roughly every half hour on weekdays, less frequently on Sundays.
By car, Marlow is just off the A404 between Maidenhead and High Wycombe, about 35 miles west of central London. Parking in the town centre is limited, especially on weekends — the main car park is on Dean Street near the station.
The most enjoyable way to arrive is on foot, walking the Thames Path from Henley, Cookham, or Bourne End. You can also arrive by boat if you are on a Thames cruise or narrowboat — Marlow has good moorings near the lock.
