Richmond's riverside pubs are the main draw for drinking and eating. The stretch along the Thames below Richmond Bridge has several pubs with outdoor seating that fill up on summer evenings. The Waterman's Arms and the White Cross are both reliable options with good river views. Further from the water, the town centre has a decent selection of cafes and wine bars around George Street and the passages running off it.
