The town is walkable, and the best routes start on foot: east to Seaford Head and Cuckmere Haven, west along the beach toward Tide Mills and Newhaven.
Buses along the coast can help turn cliff walks into one-way routes. Check times before relying on them in the evening or outside the main season.
