West Bromwich is straightforward to reach from Birmingham. The West Midlands Metro tram (line 1) runs from Birmingham Snow Hill through West Bromwich town centre and on to Wolverhampton, with a journey time of about 20 minutes from central Birmingham to West Bromwich Central. This is by far the easiest way to arrive without a car.
By bus, frequent services run from Birmingham city centre along the A41 corridor. By car, the M5 motorway (junction 1) gives direct access from the national motorway network; the A41 and A4031 provide the main local approach routes. Parking in the town centre is available at several pay-and-display car parks near the New Square shopping centre.
Birmingham airport is about 20km to the south-east, well connected to Birmingham New Street station by rail, from which tram services continue to West Bromwich.
