The walled city and the Bogside are walkable from each other; most of the key sights are within 20 minutes' walk. The Peace Bridge and Ebrington Square on the east bank add another 10 minutes. City buses cover the wider urban area including the Waterside.
Taxis are plentiful and cheap by British standards. Parking within the walls is limited; most visitors park near the Foyleside shopping centre or in surface car parks on the Strand Road.
