Seaton Park lies on the north bank of the River Don, at the edge of Old Aberdeen, and is one of the most scenically pleasing parks in the city. A riverside path runs through the park toward the Brig O'Balgownie — Aberdeen's oldest bridge, a single-arch medieval structure built in the 14th century — making the park the natural starting point for a walk to the bridge.
In spring, the daffodil banks are spectacular; the park holds around 50,000 bulbs that come into colour in April. The woodland section along the Don provides a genuinely rural feel just minutes from the university campus. The park also has an adventure playground, formal flower beds, and a picnic area.
