Banff Links is a half-mile stretch of golden sand backed by dune grassland on the western side of the town. A surf and watersports club operates from the beach, hiring wetsuits and equipment. There is a caravan park adjacent and a children's play area. A coastal path runs west from the Links to the village of Whitehills and its converted marina.
