Campbeltown Picture House is a lovely surprise in a remote harbour town: a 1913 purpose-built cinema with Art Nouveau character and an active programme. Its restored main auditorium keeps enough period detail to make even an ordinary screening feel local.
Check the listings if you are staying overnight. It is a good reminder that Campbeltown is more than whisky and weather.
