The Falls of Divach are a series of waterfalls on the Divach burn, dropping through woodland above the village of Lewiston just south of Drumnadrochit. The falls are reached by a short walk from a car park off the road to Bunloit, and the viewpoint at the top gives a good prospect over the surrounding forest and down towards Loch Ness. Robert Burns visited in 1787 and was moved to write about the landscape.
The walk through the woods is pleasant regardless of the falls themselves, and the whole area around this part of the loch has a richness of woodland vegetation that reflects the wet Highland climate. The falls are best in winter or spring when the burn is running full, but worth the short detour at any time of year.
