Dun na Cuaich Watchtower is a 1750s folly on the hill above Inveraray Castle. It was built to improve the estate view, which sounds vain until you climb up and see how well it works.
The walk is short but uphill. On a clear day the reward is the cleanest view of Inveraray: castle, planned town, woods, and Loch Fyne laid out below.
