Bressay Heritage Centre

Bressay Heritage Centre sits beside the ferry landing, which makes it the sensible first stop on the island. Its displays cover fishing, crofting, family history, and the island's older archaeology, including a reconstructed Bronze Age burnt mound.

It is small, but useful. Spend a little time here before walking east and the empty moorland makes more sense.
