Ward Hill is Bressay's high point, rising above the middle of the island. The summit has masts rather than romance, but the walk up gives wide views back to Lerwick, across the island's lochs and crofts, and out toward Noss.
It is a good way to understand Bressay's shape before choosing a longer route. Go on a clear day; in low cloud the reward disappears quickly.
