Tangwick Haa Museum

Small Northmavine history museum in a late-17th-century laird's house

Tangwick Haa is a small museum in a stone house built for the Cheyne family, former lairds of the estate. Its rooms cover Northmavine crofting life, family history, textiles, photographs, and the old routines that made this exposed peninsula livable.

It is a good counterweight to the cliffs. Go here before or after Eshaness, and the landscape outside feels less empty: you start seeing the farms, weather, and old tracks as part of a lived place.
