Dun Beag is a small Iron Age broch on a knoll above Loch Bracadale, one of those Skye sites where the view and the ruin do equal work. The surviving walls are low but readable, enough to understand the circular plan and defensive position.
The short climb is worth it for the sweep across moor, water, and the Cuillin in the distance. It is a good stop from Carbost if you want a dose of ancient Skye without committing to a long walk.
