MacLeod's Maidens are three sea stacks off Skye's west coast, far enough from the road to keep the visit feeling wild. The walk is the real attraction: moorland, cliffs, sea views, and a sense of leaving the busier castle-and-cafe circuit around Dunvegan behind.
This is not a casual viewpoint. Go only with time, decent weather, and footwear for rough ground, and be ready to turn back if visibility or wind makes the coast feel unsafe.
