Dun Ringill is a ruined Iron Age broch on the Strathaird peninsula, looking out over a lonely stretch of Skye coast. Only the foundations and low stonework remain, but the position is superb: sea, pasture, and the dark bulk of the Cuillin never far from view.
It is a small site that rewards walkers more than checklist sightseers. Wear good footwear, expect mud after rain, and treat the broch as part of the coastal landscape rather than a standalone monument.
