A 131-metre limestone hill rising between Colwyn Bay and the Conwy estuary. The summit gives one of the finest views on the north Wales coast — the bay stretching east to Rhyl, the Great Orme jutting out to the west, and on a clear day the peaks of Snowdonia rising inland.
The hill is a managed nature reserve, with chalk grassland, ash and rowan woods, and an unusually rich flora for the area — orchids, harebells, and several butterfly species that struggle elsewhere. A circular path from the small car park at the base takes about 90 minutes including the climb. The ruined hall of Llys Euryn sits on its lower wooded shoulder.
