Eating Out

St. John's has a good spread of eating options, from street food around the market to sit-down restaurants in Redcliffe Quay. Seafood and Creole cooking are the local strengths — grilled lobster, saltfish and fungi, pepperpot stew, and fresh-caught snapper. For the most authentic and cheapest eating, head to the market area on Market Street, especially on Friday and Saturday mornings.
