VC Bird International Airport is about 8 kilometres northeast of St. John's and has direct flights from London (British Airways), New York, Toronto, and various Caribbean islands. A taxi from the airport to town takes around 20 minutes and costs roughly EC$45–55. There is no bus directly between the airport and the city centre.
By sea, St. John's Harbour receives cruise ships and also has ferry connections to Barbuda. Charter flights connect Antigua to smaller Eastern Caribbean islands. There is no rail service.
