Nassau is well connected by air and sea. Lynden Pindling International Airport (formerly Nassau International) handles direct flights from Miami, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, and other major cities. The airport is about 16 km west of downtown; taxis and hotel shuttles run frequently. Drive times in Nassau can be slow — traffic builds up, and vehicles drive on the left.
Cruise ships dock at Prince George Wharf in the heart of downtown, putting you within walking distance of the old town and markets.
