Bridge House is one of the old domestic buildings that make St. George's feel less like a museum set and more like a lived-in colonial town. The house dates from around 1700 and has been linked to early governors, Loyalists, and local political life.
It is best treated as part of a slow walk through the town, along with King's Square, St. Peter's Church, and the narrow lanes around the harbour. The interest is in the age and setting rather than a long visit inside.
