St. David's Battery

Derelict British coastal battery with old guns still facing the approaches to Bermuda.

St. David's Battery was completed by the British Army in 1910 and still has its old 9-inch and 6-inch guns in place. The site is weathered and partly derelict, but the exposed position makes it easy to understand how Bermuda's eastern approaches were defended.

The magazines are locked, but the gun positions can be visited freely. Treat it as a short military-history stop rather than a polished museum.
