Duncan's totem poles are the headline attraction, but the BC Forest Discovery Centre north of town and the Quw'utsun' Cultural Centre are equally worth your time. The Cowichan Valley wine and cider trail makes for a pleasant afternoon drive if you have a car. The Saturday farmers market in the town centre is one of the better ones on Vancouver Island.
