Granby River

The Granby flows down from the high country to the north and meets the Kettle River at the centre of Grand Forks. The riverfront on the north bank has a pleasant city park with picnic tables, and the water is clean enough to swim in by midsummer.

The Granby River Trail follows the east bank north out of town into Granby Provincial Park — a flat, shady walk of any length you want, with good fishing for rainbow and bull trout along the way.
