Sidney has a handful of cosy cafes clustered along Beacon Avenue, the main shopping street, many attached to or neighbouring the town's famous bookshops. They make natural pit stops mid-browse. The town is not known for nightlife, but a few pub-style establishments serve local BC craft beers alongside the waterfront views.
