Bars and Cafes

Winnipeg's bar scene is centred on Osborne Village, Corydon Avenue, and the Exchange District. The Exchange has become the city's creative nightlife neighbourhood, with breweries, cocktail bars, and music venues in restored heritage buildings. Several bars have live music on weekends.

The craft beer scene has grown significantly: Half Pints Brewing, Torque Brewing, and Little Brown Jug are local favourites. Most have taprooms open to the public.

Coffee culture is strong. Parlour Coffee (multiple locations, including a beautiful Exchange District spot) is the city's standout specialty roaster. Forth in the Exchange is a good all-day café with local food.

In summer, rooftop and patio culture takes over — the short season means Winnipeggers make the most of every warm evening.
