Elliston Puffin Viewing Point

Elliston's puffin viewing point is one of the easiest places in Newfoundland to watch Atlantic puffins from shore. A short path leads to cliffs facing a small nesting island, close enough that binoculars help but are not always essential.

The birds are usually present in summer, with the best chances from late morning into afternoon when they return from feeding. Stay behind the barriers and bring a wind layer; the exposed headland can be cold even on bright days.
