The Dungeon Provincial Park

Small coastal park where the sea has carved a collapsed arch and sinkhole into the limestone.

The Dungeon is a quick stop, but it is a good one. Waves have cut through the rock below a grassy headland, leaving a collapsed sea cave with two natural openings to the ocean. Tour buses do come through, yet it is often quiet between them. The edge is exposed, so keep children close and do not trust the wind.
