Getting There

Cambridge has no commercial airport — the nearest is Region of Waterloo International Airport in Breslau, about 15 kilometres north, with limited scheduled service. Most visitors arrive through Toronto Pearson International Airport, roughly 90 minutes east by car depending on traffic. Toronto's Union Station serves Kitchener by GO Train (and occasionally by Via Rail), with bus connections to Cambridge from Kitchener.

By road, Cambridge sits on Highway 401, the main east-west corridor across southern Ontario, making it easy to reach from Toronto, London, and Hamilton. The Highway 8 spur leads directly into the old Galt core.

Inter-city bus service connects Cambridge to Kitchener, Waterloo, and Toronto via GO Transit. The Ainslie Street Transit Terminal is the main hub.
