Erindale Park is Mississauga's largest open park — over 70 hectares of meadow and trail along the Credit River. The river broadens here below the old Erindale Dam and is wide enough to kayak in summer. The Culham Trail runs along the west bank under the canopy.
It is a quietly excellent place for an autumn walk, especially in late October when the maples turn. There is parking off Dundas Street West, picnic tables, and a small playground. Salmon and rainbow trout run upstream past the dam in the cooler months.
