Port Credit Lighthouse

The small white-and-red lighthouse at the mouth of the Credit River is a 1991 replica of a 19th-century original. It marks the entrance to the harbour and is a popular meeting point for the Waterfront Trail. The grass slope around it has a clear view across to Toronto's skyline on a clear day.

The actual range light is still active. A small information board explains the history of the port, which once shipped grain, lumber and stone to the rest of the Great Lakes basin.
