Stratford is 150 km west of Toronto, about a two-hour drive on Highway 401 and then north on Highway 7/8. It is also reachable by VIA Rail from Toronto Union Station — two or three trains a day, journey just under two hours, which is the most civilised way to arrive.
Festival shuttle buses run from Toronto in season. The nearest international airports are Toronto Pearson (160 km east) and London (60 km southwest).
