Maison Maillou is an 18th-century brick house in Old Quebec, built in 1737 for Jean-Baptiste Maillou. Its simple, well-preserved facade gives a clear sense of the domestic scale of the city before the grand hotels and tourist streets took over.
It is a quick stop rather than a long visit, but worthwhile while walking between the Upper Town landmarks around Dufferin Terrace.
