Owen Roberts International Airport is just 3 km east of central George Town — a five-minute taxi from the cruise terminal or downtown. Cayman Airways flies from Miami, New York, Tampa, Toronto, Kingston, Havana, and Honduras, and major US carriers serve it from major hubs. Flights from London are seasonal, on British Airways.
By cruise ship, George Town is one of the busiest tender ports in the Caribbean. Ships moor offshore (there is no cruise berth) and ferry passengers in by tender. The walk from the tender dock to the town centre is two minutes; for Seven Mile Beach, hop on a public bus (US$2) at the main bus terminal one block inland.
No ferry service connects George Town to the other Cayman Islands — for Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, take a Cayman Airways flight from the airport.
