George Town is small and walkable. The Cayman Islands National Museum and Fort George ruins on the waterfront cover the historical highlights in a single morning. Beyond that, most travellers come in for duty-free shopping, lunch at one of the harbour-front restaurants, and back out to Seven Mile Beach or one of the dive boats. Time it for a no-cruise-ship day if possible — the cruise schedules are easy to look up online.
